About this event

This is a community of Snowflake users, by Snowflake users, who come together to network, share knowledge and exchange best practices. 
On 2 Feb, we'll be kicking off the new year together - an exciting session awaits, along with a giveaway of snow gear accessories! 🤩
We will be taking a glimpse into the beyond: Snowflake's Cortex and how to produce contextual LLM output based on organization’s internal knowledge using retrieval augmented generation (RAG) strategy. This is built upon Snowflake 's recently announced Cortex, a fully managed service available in private preview that brings the power of large language models (LLMs) into the Snowflake Data Cloud.
Misha Naumov, Head of Data Ops, Keppel will also be sharing Keppel's Analytics Journey on Snowflake, along with other great speakers! ❄️

Snowflake Best Practices: A Practical Sharing by iZeno	Deddy Johari, Director (Technology), iZeno will be sharing tips and best practices for Snowflake implementation, as well as strategic insights into the GenAI and LLM space.
Snowflake LLM - Augmenting External Knowledge with RAG	In November 2023, Snowflake announced Cortex, a fully managed service available in private preview that brings the power of large language models (LLMs) into the Snowflake Data Cloud. Customers have expressed tremendous interest in Cortex serverless LLM functions and started experimenting with LLM Apps using Streamlit. Daniel Ong from Snowflake will showcase how to customize and produce contextual LLM output based on organization’s internal knowledge using retrieval augmented generation (RAG) strategy (vector operations) and prompt engineering.
