Dr David Mulcahy will go through how Laya Healthcare is utilising Snowpark for Python for machine learning and how they are using Streamlit.io for visualisations in conjunction with Snowsight operational dashboards.

You'll then get chance to test-drive some of the latest Snowflake features, such as Snowpark and Streamlit, during a hands on lab. 

The Lab will cover:

• Snowpark for Data Engineering: Leverage Snowpark for Python DataFrames to perform data transformations such as group by, aggregate, pivot, and join to prep the data for downstream applications. Once done, learn how to leverage Snowflake Tasks to turn your code into operational pipelines with integrated monitoring.
  
  
• Snowpark for Machine Learning: Prepare data and run ML Training in Snowflake using scikit-learn and deploy the model as a Snowpark User-Defined-Function (UDF) using the integrated Anaconda package repository.
  
  
• Streamlit Application: Build an interactive application using Python (no web development experience required) to help visualise the ROI of different advertising spend budgets.
