About this event
Join us on May 20th at 09:00 am for the Bangalore user group meeting or the technical sessions where you will experience the latest Snowflake features enabling data engineers, data scientists and app builders to deliver data faster.
During this meeting you will hear from Snowflake experts and team from phData on how you can build better and faster apps by using python on Snowflake. Food and beverages will be served, and all attendees will leave with exclusive BUILD.local swag!
Snowflake is for everybody. If you're building data pipelines, machine learning models or even applications, Snowflake can help reduce your effort, optimize your workflows, build and share assets with enterprise grade governance and security. In this session, we'll introduce you to Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, SQL API, external functions, zero-copy cloning and more capabilities you can leverage to ease your work with data.
Service Now Integration with Snowflake and phData Provisioning Tool
Snowflake has created connectors to directly ingest external data into its tables while managing all configuration, management, monitoring, and alerting within the Snowflake environment. The ServiceNow Snowflake Connector replicates key dimensions and metrics from ServiceNow, including incidents, changes, users, and more. The connector uses the ServiceNow V2 Table API and can be easily set up through a few clicks on the Snowflake Snowsight-UI. The connector supports SQL and can capture changes in data and schema drift, with data sync customized to each table and inbuilt monitoring and alerting. The process is powered by Snowflake Warehouse and can be scaled according to needs, with pricing based on the warehouse used
Data Engineering and ML with Snowpark for Python
In this session we'll teach you how to build data engineering and machine learning workflows using Snowpark, and create an interactive application using Streamlit. We'll walk you through the process of training a linear regression model to predict the return on investment of advertising spend across multiple channels.
