Augmenting Snowflake: Using Third Party Tools To Simplify and Scale Snowflake

As Snowflake is known for its incredible scale and growing feature set, we will focus on a marketplace of tools around Snowflake that can accelerate productivity and help operations. If some Snowflake shops make Snowflake the entire universe of data services, another option is to make Snowflake the brain of your data universe, and leverage other specialized tools and services to intentionally address recurring data tasks and issues. This talk will walk through an example data shop that uses tools to augment Snowflake, as well as a breakout of the pros & cons of this strategy.

Bring your questions or use cases! We will have Snowflake Engineers available in a dedicated space for Q&A.

PARKING & ARRIVALS

The main entrance is just to the right of the large ESO sign.

There is free parking in the Nordstrom's parking garage on Level 3 and 4, or you can park in the open lot in front of the ESO building by asking for a parking pass when signing in.
