One community member mentioned that they have referred several friends and filled out the registration form but have not yet received a confirmation email, while their friends have.

Thank you for raising this concern — we completely understand how it can feel when confirmations are inconsistent.

To provide some context, our Hyderabad community currently has ~2000 registered members, while for each meetup we typically receive 400–500 registrations. However, due to venue and logistical constraints, we can accommodate a maximum of around 100 participants per event. These are free community events, and there are costs involved in organizing them, which limits the capacity.

Because of this, we aim to rotate opportunities across the community so more people get a fair chance to attend. If we look at it practically, based on the number of registrations vs. available slots, an individual may get a confirmed spot roughly once every 5-6 events on average.

We also noticed that you received confirmations for the April and May events, which is great — you’re actually among the few lucky members who have been able to attend consecutively. 😊 To ensure fairness, we try to diversify participation across events rather than repeating the same attendees frequently.

We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and referrals — it’s what helps our community grow. We encourage you (and your friends) to continue registering, and we’ll do our best to provide opportunities to as many members as possible over time.

Also, we are open to suggestions from the community on how we can implement a more transparent and foolproof selection mechanism. Currently, we are managing this process using Cortex Code Analytics, and we’re continuously looking to improve it based on community feedback.

Thanks again for your understanding and continued support!

Thanks Sathish for clear clarification.
