In the first part of the session, Christel and Néhémy will walk through how they built a data platform at Tamoil, combining Snowflake, dbt, and Azure Data Factory to centralize previously scattered data. The talk focuses on dbt best practices, a real-world use case where dbt proved especially valuable, and potential areas for improvement.

In the second part, we will give an overview of "dbt Projects on Snowflake" which brings the full dbt lifecycle natively into Snowflake. We will show what that actually looks like in practice: a dbt project built, tested, deployed, and scheduled entirely inside Snowflake, plus the lineage and run history you get for free.
