8:55 AM	Wesfarmers Presentation: Accelerating Data Value: A Practical Guide to Self-Service Analytics with Snowflake Intelligence	This session will explore our journey from traditional, often time-consuming dashboard development cycles to a new era of self-service analytics, powered by Snowflake Intelligence. Learn how Wesfarmers are leveraging Snowflake's AI capabilities to enable their business users to ask complex questions of their data in plain English. We'll discuss how this shift is transforming the way they analyse sales performance, allowing teams to independently investigate the "why" behind sales fluctuations by seamlessly integrating external datasets like weather and local events from the Snowflake Marketplace. This presentation will offer a practical look at how Snowflake Intelligence is helping Wesfarmers to not only accelerate their speed to value but also to uncover richer, more context-driven insights that were previously out of reach. 9:15 AM	PLS Presentation: PLSbot (PLS company Agentic AI system deployed in Snowflake)	Technical demonstration of the MVP of the PLS (formerly Pilbara Minerals) company chatbot. PLSbot is an Australian Privacy Policy compliant agentic AI system deployed in the PLS Snowflake data warehouse. The MVP solution provides all PLS staff the ability to use natural language to query the latest versioned company-controlled documents. Want to know the current process to book a flight to site? PLSbot has you covered. Had an incident and need to know who to call and how to handle it? No worries – PLSbot will give you the answer in seconds. Always with a handy document link to check the information, of course. This demonstration will cover exactly how the PLS Data Analytics, AI & BI Team created the data ingestion pipeline, pre-processed the documents and created the RAG search and Agent in Snowflake. The team will take you through how they explored different document parsing and UI options, how they investigated using cortex analyst combined with cortex search, and will share some useful lessons learned along the way.
9:35 AM	Xsights Presentation: From initial adoption to scaling for commercialisation: Using Snowflake to support health, wellbeing, and production monitoring for the global pork industry	Xsights has developed a combined hardware and software solution for the intensive pork industry to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and get more pigs to market. The Xiot Tag, which functions like a Fitbit for pigs, broadcasts data every second to monitor the temperature, activity, proximity, and location of every pig. This produces large quantities of data [given intensive pig farms house tens of thousands of pigs] from which to generate actionable insights into health, wellbeing, behaviour, and performance. This presentation will discuss Xsights’ journey with the Snowflake platform and where we aspire to get to as we commercialise our solution for customers across a range of global markets. Discussion will also cover the data that we are collecting, where Snowflake fits in, and some of the challenges we have encountered in the development of our data products.
