Oct 15, 3:00 – 7:00 PM (UTC)
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll take a real business question from hypothesis to production, all inside Snowflake CoCo. You'll start with a churn problem, test the theory leadership believes, find the signal that actually predicts churn, and then automate it so it keeps working without you.
The setup: Meridian's renewal rate dropped 7 points, and the VP of Revenue thinks pricing is the cause. You'll use customer, order, renewal, and support data to find out whether she's right. By the end of the session you'll have an evidence-backed briefing for the VP, a live risk model that refreshes itself, an alert that catches newly at-risk customers, and a dashboard that shows all of it.
You'll work in CoCo the whole time, starting from a business question. You won't need a SQL worksheet:
Investigate: Set a churn baseline, test the pricing hypothesis, and find the support-contact threshold where churn jumps. Then check whether the pattern holds across segment, ARR, tenure, channel, or region.
Communicate: Write an executive briefing and action plan that debunks the myth and presents the real finding.
Operationalize: Turn the finding into a CUSTOMER_CHURN_RISK dynamic table and a scheduled alert that logs newly high-risk customers.
Prove it works: Load new support data and watch the chain run on its own. The dynamic table refreshes, risk rises, and the alert fires and records the evidence.
Make it visible: Build and deploy a Churn Risk Dashboard as a Streamlit app in Snowsight.
Measure: See which warehouse, compute, and CoCo resources the exercise used.
What's Next: The same workflow applies to your own data. You can take any hypothesis, test it, and turn the answer into automation that runs without you. We'll close with a quick look at where to take it next.
Good for: data analysts, data engineers, analytics leaders, and anyone who wants to go from a question to a deployed, self-monitoring answer in one session.
No prior Snowflake experience required.
