RXBAR, a Chicago-based manufacturer of protein bars, nut butters, and other healthy snacks, needed better access and visibility into their data in order to forecast distribution needs and plan for growth. With a highly manual process and heavy reliance on Excel for most data storage, cleaning, and reporting, they struggled with unreliable data, decentralized data and data silos, heavy reliance on manual data extraction, no cross-functional views, and multiple sources of truth. As part of a comprehensive Data and Analytics Strategy, Snowflake was deployed to manage their data management capabilities and lay the foundation for modern analytics and reporting in Tableau.
