Sam is an Analytics Engineer with a Master's from Northeastern University. She's built production pipelines across healthcare, clean energy, and AI research at organizations including Massachusetts Clean Energy Center and Humanitarians AI. Most recently, she's been automating complex data workflows and building agentic AI systems.
In this session, she'll share practical patterns for engineering reliable Snowflake and dbt pipelines: designing transformations, implementing data quality testing, documenting lineage, and integrating AI metrics into production. Real lessons from pipelines teams actually use.
Janani is a Solutions Engineer at VaultSpeed. She works with enterprise teams building automated data products on Snowflake, brings hands-on experience from Pfizer's R&D data environment, and holds a Master's in Data Analytics Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston.
M&A at Enterprise Scale: How Thomson Reuters Built on Snowflake Without Breaking What Works
Thomson Reuters runs 100+ business systems and acquires up to 5 companies a year. In this session, Janani walks through how they built a unified data foundation on Snowflake - the architecture, the two-year journey, and what made it possible to deliver 11 live data products with a team that started from scratch.
Practical, real numbers, no slides full of theory. Built for Snowflake practitioners who are thinking about scale, M&A, or AI readiness.
