About this event

Join us for a deep dive on Cortex Code

Agentic AI has landed in the data stack, and this meetup is for the builders making it work.

Snowflake covers both sides of the agentic workflow on one governed platform. Snowflake Intelligence is the work agent: business users ask questions in natural language across structured tables, unstructured documents and external systems (Gmail, Jira, Salesforce, Slack via MCP connectors), grounded in your semantic models and your existing RBAC, row-level policies and masking. Every action is auditable. Every response respects what the user is allowed to see. This is not an AI/BI chat bolted onto a lakehouse — it is the full enterprise data estate, with governance enforced at the same layer as the data itself.

Cortex Code is the other half of the picture: the builder's agent. It understands your schemas, catalogue, lineage and access policies from the first prompt, works across Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, AWS Glue and Postgres, and runs where you already code — CLI, VS Code, Cursor, Claude Code, Zed and 30+ ACP-compatible editors. Same governance model. Same platform. Different persona.

For this quarter's session, we're going to deep dive into Cortex Code, with a combination of technical deep dives, demonstrations and a customer story about how Cortex Code CLI is accelerating their productivity on Snowflake.

Following the presentations, we'll provide an opportunity for you to network with your technical peers over pizza and refreshments.

Who should attend?

This event is specifically curated for technical practitioners and leaders. If you're a core builder, architect, or technical lead, a platform owner or decision-maker for your organisation's data and analytics environment, or someone who works with data and analytics, then you'll find the content highly relevant. We openly welcome current Snowflake customers, active users, and anyone interested in learning more about Snowflake's technical capabilities.

Please also reach out to Andrew Pietruschka (andrew.pietruschka@snowflake.com) if you have any queries or would like to present at a future event.

Don't miss this opportunity to learn, share, and connect with the Adelaide Snowflake user community.
